The Grip Strip provided the necessary stability needed onmy patio ramp. The screws need to be longer. However, the ones provided secured the strip to the wood.

I first used these after I fell on steps in the rain

I first used these outdoors after falling on slippery deck steps in the rain. A year later I bought more to mark a change of level that an insurance agent didn't notice before he stumbled. I like them because of the great visibility, the enhanced traction, and the easy installation.
